Business and Strategic planning is a process in which decisions are made and action plans are developed essential to the future of the organization. Strategic planning focuses energy and keeps members of the firm working toward the same goals. It is also used to assess the organization’s progress periodically and make adjustments to its direction as the business and market environments change.

Each plan is unique, but those that are effective have a common set of core activities. To guide your firm through the planning process, we focus on these activities as they pertain to your particular business.

Core Activities:
  • Identification of organizational challenges
  • Setting of goals and objectives
  • Assignment of these goals and objectives to individuals and/or teams
  • Assistance with the development of strategies for reaching the goals assigned
OPTIS Partners can facilitate an even broader planning approach through execution of some or all of the following tasks:
  • Identification of your firm’s history, culture, and services in an effort to isolate factors that differentiate it from its competitors
  • Review of industry trends and issues that could affect your firm’s direction
  • Examination of local, state and national trends that could influence your firm’s market direction and business decisions
  • Development or affirmation of the company’s vision, mission and values
  • Creation of SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-related) Action Plans for implementation in the coming year
  • Preparation of a report that summarizes discussion, outlines goals and strategies, and charts action plans
  • Periodic follow-up with management as requested to discuss progress
