Executive, sales and support salaries, including employee benefits expense, is the largest broad expense category for all agencies with sales and support salaries, respectively, the largest and second largest individual expense. A properly structured compensation program, accordingly, will have a material impact on the profitability of the firm. In addition, a properly structured compensation program will have a significant impact on attracting and retaining the best and brightest employees and will provide the motivation and reward structure for the best and brightest staff.
